Frequently Asked Questions

Who will be leading the class?

A trained TechBrainiacs instructor will be there to lead each session. In many cases, these instructors are staff members at the school. We are always looking for qualified instructors to help us grow. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about employment opportunities.

Do you offer any discounts?

We make it a point to offer the lowest possible prices to everyone.

You will receive a price break when you sign up for the full semester or full school year options.

In addition, we are happy to offer all educators, first responders, and military families one FREE session (per child).

What is your refund policy?

If you are not completely satisfied after your child attends their first class session, please let us know and you will receive a full refund for any unused sessions*. No refunds will be issued after a child has attended a second time.

At the end of the school year, you will receive credit for any unused sessions. This credit may be applied towards future classes or camps.

*Processing fees may apply.

Will my child be able to work from home?

Yes! All or most of the sites we use in class will also allow our students to sign in from home. They are free to continue working on their projects between sessions. We suggest setting aside some time periodically to have them log in and share their creations.

What will my child be doing in class?

On their first day with us, each child is able to select one of our learning paths with which to get started. These paths include Video Game Design, Coding, Digital Storytelling, Web Design, and Multimedia. You are also able to pre-select a path for your child at the time of registration if you’ve already made that decision together at home.

Once that choice is made, we will help them get started with one of several different tools to explore and use to create awesome projects. From games to books and comic strips to art, music, and animation, the possibilities are limitless! Guidance will come from our trained instructors and the extensive information included on the club website all students access each time they’re with us.

What happens if there is an emergency during class?

The safety of your children is extremely important to us. Our adult leaders are there to ensure rules are being followed and everyone is participating safely. Please discuss with your child the importance of being safe, respectful, and responsive to their instructors’ directions.

In the event that a situation arises that requires emergency medical attention, we will:

  1. Administer immediate first aid/CPR.
  2. Contact 911.
  3. Notify parent/guardian or emergency contact.
  4. Arrange transport to nearest/preferred hospital (if necessary).
  5. File accident/medical incident report.
