This follow-up to our Intro to Video Game Design class will have your child taking their game design skills to the next level! This is designed to be a more intensive class for students that are truly interested in creating the best games they can. Lessons will focus on both physical and digital game design, as the same core elements apply to both. There will be an increased focus on playtesting and providing feedback to one another. For many weeks, there will even be homework for your child to complete in between sessions!
After spending the first few weeks designing physical (card, board, etc.) games, we will again be using the Gamestar Mechanic software to complete additional design challenges focused on each of the five core game design elements.
